Rival
Your lifts and your runs, finally in one place. Rival is the training log for people whose week doesn't fit in a single app.
Reynard Saputra
I build software for a living and tools for fun. Backend systems, internal apps, and the automation that keeps a company running without anyone noticing.
Five roles, from first internship to now.
InternshipNow
Munich, Germany
Building the internal tools that keep FINN's operations running, in TypeScript and React. I ship fast with AI-assisted development like Claude Code and MCP skills, and work across teams to turn messy business processes into tickets, docs and working software.
Working Student
Munich, Germany
Worked on a global diagnostics dashboard for Canon's mass-production printers, built in TypeScript, React and Python. I added the features and tools engineers used to analyse and monitor printers worldwide, and kept close contact with stakeholders along the way.
Working Student
Munich, Germany
Developed and tested automotive software used by customers across the industry. Most of my time went into writing and maintaining Java and QF-Test suites that kept the UI reliable release after release.
Working Student
Munich, Germany
Built and maintained the university-wide dashboard students use to register, track and complete their assignments. I worked across the whole stack in PHP and CSS, from registration through to submission.
Internship

My first look at engineering at scale. I shadowed senior engineers helping customers troubleshoot and design Azure cloud architectures, and wrote Python tools to streamline internal processes.
Informatics at TUM, bachelor's to master's.

What I'm building, and what I've built along the way.
Your lifts and your runs, finally in one place. Rival is the training log for people whose week doesn't fit in a single app.
That recipe you saved on TikTok and never made? SavorShelf turns it into one you'll actually cook. Save from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and food blogs, all on one shelf.
A real-time 3D head editing pipeline. Type an instruction and the volumetric head changes to match, built on Gaussian Splatting and Instruct-Pix2Pix.
A web dashboard for a client that generates invoices, works out taxes and breaks down revenue automatically, replacing hours of spreadsheet work.
Built in 36 hours. An AI web app that reads a Sixt customer's booking and recommends the vehicle upgrade they're most likely to take.
A cloud-native transcription platform that turns a client's customer-service call recordings into searchable text, automatically.
What I've carried from job to job.
Every role has dropped me into something new: production printers at Canon, automotive software at Expleo, car subscriptions at FINN. The tech is the part you can pick up. Understanding what the business is actually trying to do is what makes the work useful.
I'm at my best hands-on and close to the problem. I go looking for ownership, dig in until I understand it, and ship. Then I check whether it actually made a difference.
Rival and SavorShelf both live in crowded spaces. I build them anyway because I live the problem every week, and that's where I find the gaps the existing apps still leave open.
I use AI every day, for code, for getting into unfamiliar domains, and for shipping sooner. The bar has moved and I'd rather move with it. None of that replaces wanting to understand how things work. It just gets me there faster.
What I reach for today.
For work, ideas, or a coffee.
